Marketwise Strategies works with further education colleges and other learning providers to research new markets, inform programme development and gain insights into students’ and stakeholders’ perceptions. Public and third sector bodies also come to us for research to inform education and learning solutions.
In recent years, FE marketing has become increasingly challenging, as budgets are squeezed and efficiency gains are emphasised. Alongside competing offers within the 16+ marketplace, these create some important challenges for marketing tasks and the marketing function.

All of our projects are conducted by teams of experienced education market researchers and marketing professionals, supported as required by digital and software specialists.

Many of our researchers and consultants have worked in further education and training, as lecturers and/or managers. Their experience includes teaching on academic and professional programmes, and developing marketing messages and materials for short courses and distance learning degrees.
Our Managing Director Jacquie Potts BA (Hons), MA, DipM, MCIM, MCMI, CMRS, Chartered MCIPD brings several years experience in teaching and commercial roles in further education, and in HRD within the engineering industry.
